OEE Container Technology proudly participated in the World Can Experience (WCE) 2026, held from January 21 to 23 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, the premier international gathering for canmakers and suppliers. The event brought together industry leaders, technical experts, and manufacturers for three days of hands-on training, knowledge exchange, and professional networking.
At the congress, OEE showcased its latest solutions and delivered specialised technical training, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted partner in operational excellence and process optimisation for beverage can and metal end production.
Industry Leaders Share Expertise
OEE’s Managing Director, Bruce Jones, and Project Engineering Manager, John Jennings, joined the faculty of WCE 2026 as featured instructors. Together, they delivered three intensive courses for two-piece aluminum can (2PC) manufacturers:
- Metal Waste Reduction Program in a Two-Piece Aluminum Can Manufacturing Line
- Troubleshooting in a High-Speed Two-Piece Aluminum Can Manufacturing Line
- End Line Set-Up and Quality Assurance
The courses emphasised practical, plant-based methodologies, equipping participants with actionable tools to enhance line performance, reduce metal waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
“World Can Experience is the perfect platform to share applied knowledge,” said Bruce Jones. “Our goal was to provide insights that attendees could take straight back to the production floor and implement immediately.”
About the Instructors
Bruce Jones brings over three decades of experience in beverage can and metal end manufacturing. He has led transformative projects at NAFCEL in Saudi Arabia, turning it into the world’s largest end-making plant, and served as Director of Strategic Projects at Aujan Group Holding in the UAE.
John Jennings is a seasoned expert in quality management and statistical process control (SPC), with more than 30 years of experience across automotive and packaging industries. A certified Black Belt in continuous improvement, he leverages data-driven methods to optimize industrial processes and improve operational efficiency.
Strengthening Industry Knowledge
The World Can Experience congress continues to grow as the global forum for technical learning and business networking in the metal packaging sector. The 2026 edition attracted over 130 participants, including leading companies such as Crown and Sonoco, and showcased more than 50 exhibitors.
OEE’s contribution to the training program reinforced the practical and technical value of the event, providing attendees with insights and methods that can be immediately applied in modern can production lines worldwide.
